Klaus Rehkugler was appointed to the VfB Stuttgart 1893 supervisory board in July 2025.
After completing his studies in International Business Administration & Management, he joined Mercedes-Benz AG in 1994 through the international trainee programme. After holding various specialist and management positions in fleet and used car sales as well as product management, he took over the management of global sales planning at smart GmbH. From 2005 to 2011, he held various international management positions at Mercedes-Benz Canada, first as marketing director and then as vice president of Mercedes-Benz’s own Toronto Retail Group. After returning from North America, he took over central product management for the S-, E- and C-Class and their respective product derivatives. This was followed in 2014 by the management of sales and marketing for the Mercedes-Benz Cars Europe region and, from summer 2020, the management of global sales for Mercedes-Benz Vans. Since May 2025, he has been head of product management & global training at Mercedes-Benz Cars.
Rehkugler was born on 24 August 1967 in Kirchheim Teck and is married with two sons.
