Alexander Kläger has been a member of the VfB Stuttgart supervisory board since September 2022.
After studying technical business administration at Reutlingen University of Applied Sciences, Kläger began his Volkswagen career in Mexico. He has held various managerial roles at SAP since 2012, following spells at Arthur Andersen Management Consulting, IBM Deutschland and Hewlett-Packard.
Kläger started out as a member of the SAP Deutschland SE & Co. KG management board before serving as COO of the Central and Eastern Europe (MEE) region, where he was also head of cloud business. He served as managing director of SAP Deutschland SE & Co. KG from August 2020 to February 2022.
Since the beginning of 2022, Kläger has been the company’s president of the Central and Eastern Europe (MEE) region. He is responsible for sales, operations and strategic development in that region.
Born in Swabia, Kläger lives with his family in Reutlingen. An avid tennis player and skier, he has been a passionate supporter of VfB Stuttgart since childhood and still attends every home game.
