VfB sign Anto Grgic

The Swiss 19-year-old makes the move from FC Zürich to Bad Cannstatt, signing on with VfB until June 30th, 2020.

VfB Stuttgart have agreed terms with FC Zürich on the transfer of Anto Grgic. The 19-year-old Swiss youngster has signed a deal with VfB Stuttgart until June 30th, 2020 and will don the number eight jersey with the infamous red hoop. Details of the transfer remain undisclosed.

Anto Grgic has been educated at the FC Zürich youth academy since 2009 and signed his first professional deal with the club last year. Since then, the 1,88 meter tall central midfielder has made 24 Swiss Super League appearances for Zürich, scoring four goals. In the Swiss junior national teams (U15 through U20), Anto Grgic has made 27 appearances and scored six goals.
