VfB bind Marcin Kaminski until 2021

VfB have extended their contract with Marcin Kaminski, which would have expired on 30.06.2019 until 30.06.2021.

The Polish international made the move to VfB from Lech Posen in July 2017 and has since then made a total of 41 competitive appearances in the shirt with the infamous red hoop. So far in the current Bundesliga season, Marcin Kaminski has made 16 appearances.

Sporting Director Michael Reschke: "We are delighted about securing an early extension to our deal with Marcin Kaminski. Marcin has confirmed his sporting qualities on several occasions and he is a vitally important element of our squad. Aside from that, he is also a great guy, with a very professional attitude and a mentality which perfectly suits VfB and our ambitious goals."

Head-coach Tayfun Korkut: "In the short time I’ve been here, I’ve come to know and appreciate Marcin as an absolutely reliable professional, who is always willing to implement his qualities in every situation for the good of the team. We know just what we have in Marcin and we are extremely happy to be continuing our cooperation."

Marcin Kaminski: "I am delighted that I will be continuing with VfB into the future. Within the team and the club, as well as here in the city, I feel very much at home. The club’s ambitious targets in the coming years very much tally with my own and I want to be a part of a successful future at VfB."
