Last season, the Greek international (one A-International, seven U21 caps and thirteen U19 appearances) was released on loan by Juventus to French first division side OGC Nizza. In Ligue 1, Anastasios Donis made 18 appearances, scoring five goals. At VfB, Anastasios Donis will wear the number 14 jersey.
