Hajima Hosogai ist o make an immediate move to Kashiwa Reysol in the Japanese J-League. The 30-year-old midfielder made the move to VfB from Hertha BSC Berlin prior to the start of the current season and made ten appearances in the shirt with the infamous red hoop in the 2. Bundesliga.
VfB Sporting Director Jan Schindelmeiser:
"Hajime came to us with the request to leave VfB. We discussed the situation together and subsequently decided to grant his wish. Hajime is an extremely likable person and a top professional. He wants to play regularly, which we can naturally understand."
