Three days after the test friendly against FC Ingolstadt 04 (1-0), the Cannstatt Boys got in a second test friendly during the international break. On the VfB club grounds, Simon Terodde & Co. took on TSV 1860 München II (Regionalliga Bayern), in a tie which was not open to the public. After just two minutes, Alexandru Maxim was on target with what proved a well-deserved winner.
Hannes Wolf on the game: "We wanted to play on Thursday and Sunday, in order to train under competitive circumstances during the international break. They were two good tests against two good opponents. We developed a great deal going forward, even if we did only score one goal. We worked well at the back too."
