As of next season, Tim Walter will be the head coach of VfB Stuttgart. The 43-year-old is currently in charge of second-division club Holstein Kiel and had previously worked as a youth coach at FC Bayern Munich and Karlsruher SC. Walter has signed a two-year contract at VfB until 2021.

We are also looking to focus on our youth teams and Tim not only has a great deal of experience in this area, but first and foremost a real belief in it. We’ve recruited a very good coach for VfB and are looking forward to working with him."
