International duty

During the up-coming league break for a round of international games, there will be a number of VfB players away on duty with their respective national teams – two of whom will even go head-to-head.

During the pending round of international games, in one particular match, two VfB players will go head-to-head with their respective national teams. On March 28th at the GAZi Stadion, Germany’s U21’s will play host to their counterparts from Portugal – thus Timo Baumgartl will be faced by Carlos Mané. For others, such as Mitch Langerak and Takuma Asano, there will be vitally important World Cup qualification points at stake.
