Der VfB Winterfahrplan
The football year 2016 is now at an end. Equipped with individual training plans, the VfB players have since headed into a well-earned winter break. On January 3rd, the Cannstatt Boys then return to Stuttgart, in order to undergo performance analysis test on January 4th and 5th. The first team training session of the New Year is scheduled for January 6th.
There have also been two winter test friendlies scheduled. On January 11th, coach Hannes Wolf’s men take on top-flight 1. FC Köln. For organisational reasons, the game will be played behind closed doors. Two days later, the VfB crew head off to their winter training camp in Lagos, Portugal, where the squad will work intensively until January 20th. During their training camp, on January 15th, the Wasenelf will take on German third division league leaders MSV Duisburg (kick-off 14:00 CET).
