Bruno Labbadia’s men were clearly in control throughout in front of a crowd of 1,900 at the ‘Schwaikheimer Stadion’ and eventually completed the tie with a convincing 16-0 win in a very one sided affair’ The VfB goals were scored by Arthur Boka (13’), Tunay Torun (19’+30’), Ibrahima Traoré (22’), Cacau (24’), Tamas Hajnal (28’+35’), Serdar Tasci (44’), Vedad Ibisevic (51’, 73’, 78’, 87’), Shinji Okazaki (56’+69’), Kevin Stöger (65’) and Tim Hoogland (90’).
The VfB crew continue now with a further weekend of two daily training sessions before playing their next friendly game on Wednesday, when the opponent will be of quite a different caliber in third division 1.
