In his final game for 1. FC Nürnberg, the on-loan midfielder suffered a serious injury, damaging the cartridge in his left knee. Following successful knee surgery in Augsburg, Daniel Didavi returned to Stuttgart last week to begin his recuperation at the VfB-Reha-Welt.

“I would have liked by return here to be at a different location but the operation went well and my knee looks good. I’m just looking ahead now and want to get fit step-by-step. Next week I will begin to train my good leg and upper body on the weight machines before getting into the more serious training. That will then be the first little win for me,” commented Dida in an interview with vfbtv.
