Just days before the UEFA Europa League, DFB-Cup and the Bundesliga all get underway, Bruno Labbadia’s men will play a high-profile friendly game against a prolific opponent. On Friday, August 3rd in Großaspach, VfB will take on Real Betis. The high-profile event, which will also include an after game party, kicks-off at 6pm.
The Spanish champions from 1935 and Spanish Cup winners in both 1977 as well as 2005, finished the previous Spanish league season in 13th place. During the course of the season, ‘Béticos’ managed a 2-2 draw with the mighty FC Barcelona.
The location for the clash of two top international clubs is the 8,200 capacity comtech-Arena in Großaspach, which opened its doors in 2011 and hosts the home games of fourth division SG Sonnenhof.
Tickets for the game are available from SG Sonnenhof Großaspach from Tueday, July 10th and then later directly from VfB Stuttgart.
