Juan Agudelo is a striker, is signed to the New York Red Bulls and since Wednesday he has been keeping fit with VfB – where he will remain for the next few weeks. For the NY Red Bulls, the season came to an end with the Major League Soccer Conference Semi-Final on November 4th.
US coach Jürgen Klinsmann got in contact with Fredi Bobic and Bruno Labbadia to ask if it would be possible for Juan Agudelo to maintain his fitness with VfB during the closed season: “I am very grateful to Fredi and Bruno for their willingness to allow Juan to keep fit at Vf. For Juan, the training period is something of a season extension, he can get a taste of European air and maintain his rhythm,” explained Klinsmann.
