Saturday afternoon in Babelsberg

On Saturday, August 14^th, at 3:30pm, VfB will have their first competitive fixture in a national tournament when trainer Christian Gross' eleven take on SV Babelsberg 03 in the first round of the DFB-Cup.

There is one task for the VfB players to fulfil before they face the side newly promoted to the third division. In the final qualifying round for the Europa League, on Thursdays, June 29^th and August 5^th, there will be a two legged Play-Off for a place in the group stage of the competition. VfB's opponent will be drawn in Nyon, Switzerland on Friday, July 16^th.
